Yes and no! We will ensure there is more than one set of identical china in the collection but there will also be other identical sets, to ensure that the china looks classy and co-ordinated. For example, where you are requesting a 12 person event in pink we may give 6 sets of 2, 3 sets of 4 or 4 sets of 3. We want to ensure your table looks fabulously co-ordinated and can send you pictures of the china we are going to use for your event.

Yes, there will be no chips on the china and the accessories, such as napkins and runners, will all be in excellent condition. Please note the china is very old so may have signs of discolouring, wear, fade or little china spots within it but this is part of the charm of old china. It will all of course be freshly cleaned immediately prior to delivery. As per our terms and conditions, should you notice any damage to anything once it has been delivered, please notify us.

We are based within the Kent postcode TN12. You are welcome to collect from us (or visit to view the china). If you would like delivery it is free within five miles of the postcode. Outside of this we charge £1 a mile to deliver the china and accessories. There is no charge for collection providing we can mutually agree a satisfactory collection time. If you need the china collected at a specific time we may need to charge for a courier to pick it up. If we need to deliver in a congestion charge zone the fee will be charged to the customer.

There is no minimum hire cost for collection from our base. If you would like us to deliver the minimum cost is £100 within a five mile radius and £150 outside.

At the moment delivery and collections are on Tuesdays and Thursdays – usually we would deliver on a Thursday and collect on a Tuesday. If this is unsuitable for your purposes please let us know and we may be able to arrange timings to suit you better (though, as above, this could involve the additional cost of couriers)

Your china and accessories will arrive well packaged in bubble wrap and sturdy boxes to ensure no breakages. We would ask that you repackage the china in the same way –written instructions will be given to you with how to do this when we drop off the china. If you would like us to re-pack we would be able to do this at cost.

There is no need to wash the china or the napkins but we do ask that the china is dry when returning. If you do feel more comfortable washing the cups then we must stress not to put anything into the dishwasher as often this can remove any gilding. Please just wash with water and a little bit of soapy liquid. If the napkins are dirty or you suspect may be stained if left unwashed then you are welcome to wash these to see if you can remove the stain or dirt so as to avoid any deductions in the return of the deposit. We do not charge a washing up cost.

We do, this will be the same cost as the total cost of the china you are renting out. This deposit will be returned to you within 72 hours after the china is collected. We will notify you of any deductions in the deposit within 48 hours after the china has been collected.

Don’t worry, this can happen. Please take a look at our terms and conditions where we set out the cost of replacing china and the accessories. We will merely take the cost of the item off the deposit.
